Did I leave the gas on this morning? :)

This particular piece of art is speaking volumes; but only for those who can hear.
I agree that there is nothing more left to discuss beyond that.
Dubois, you've captured an eternal look!

"Art", as you call it, should speak by itself; it doesn't need discussions or explanation!
Cheers

Thanks Justine for your comments. Isn't it the great thing about photography that we can express our view of life in an individualistic way (as of course it is the case with most art forms). I'd love to discuss this more with you but perhaps this is not the right platform. DPReview Leica talk perhaps?

Just a few quick comments!
To me, she is not lost in her thoughts, but posing for the photographer and looking at him!
Then, I have problems with the composition! The most important part of the shot (left side) is blurry, while the main subject is almost squeezed in one corner!... This shot could be really nice if composed differently!

Thanks Hans and Anonymous. High praise indeed. You are both very kind. By the way, the background is The Creek, where new and old Dubai meet.

I have to agree with Hans, it is such a dreamy shot. I would have this proudly hanging on my wall somewhere. The eye contact she makes also suggests to me she would like to know what the viewer is thinking. Very sophisticated image!

It's not only the exquisite beauty who seems to be lost in thoughts, it's the viewer, too, who is made to daydream. The somehow void-looking out of focus area represents the pensive inner view into a vague distance. HansAlbert
