'Our Planet' is the theme for the latest challenge. This can include photos of nature (flora and fauna), landscape, science/technology, ecology, geology, geographic interest, seascape, inhabitants, etc. The only real criteria is that the image must be truly representative for you (i.e iconic, typical, amazing), of something on our planet. The rest is up to the voters.

You can Submit entries from Monday September 21st and ending on Sunday October 18th 2009, at 9PM GMT.

Voting will start on Monday October 19th and end on Wednesday October 28th at 9PM GMT.

You can post 3 shots in each one of the following categories: "Competition” and “Exhibition”.

For the competition gallery, you must enter photos you took during the submission period using any camera, digital or analogue, made by Leica, or on any camera with Leica lens.

For the exhibition gallery, you can submit any photo taken by any camera at any time!

Each “file” should not exceed 500kb; and the longest side of each entry should not exceed 1000px.
