Belize City and Northward

We stayed three nights at the DNest Inn in the northern part of Belize City. Gaby and Otry were great host and welcomed us with open arms. During our visit, their daughter gave birth to their ninth grand child. From the DNest Inn, we did day trips to the Crooked Tree Wildlife Sanctuary hoping to spot the Jabiru stork, and to the Mayan ruins at Lamanai along the New River.
