Most people enter from the 8 mile road entrance (which is between garfield and napier roads...it's to the left of the linked map). However, there is also an entrance from Beck road between W Main Street and 8 Mile. This road gets you to the horse stables. You can see the road on this map...it goes west from Beck, winds back and forth a few times, and comes to a circular parking lot just north of the lake. This is where the horse stables are. Opposite of the horse stables are a few trails...one leads clockwise around the lake, the other counterclockwise. Everything in this gallery was taken from that loop.

Your photograps are beautiful, I didn't realize that Maybury had so much to offer. Were this photos taken from the hiking trail? There is not written about that trail, the articles mainly mention the biking and horse trails. I too, would like to do some photography out there. Again, your photos are beautiful and show nature in all it's glory.
