Registan Ensemble
Considered from an architectural point of view to be Central Asia's noblest square, Samarkand's Registan has been restored to its former glory with its trio of monumental religious colleges (madrassas) -
Ulugh Beg on the left, Tilakar in the centre, and Shirdar Madrassa on the right
