Construite de 1856 à 1859, cette église se situe au centre-ville de Montréal
entre le magasin La Baie et le Centre Eaton, sur la rue Ste-Catherine.
À la fin des années 1980, la construction du centre commercial souterrain
Les Promenades de la Cathédrale, aura nécessité la consolidation de l'église
et son maintien sur pilotis pendant plusieurs mois.

Builted between 1856 and 1859, this church is located downtown Montreal,
on Ste-Catherine street, between The Bay store and Eaton Center.

What a surrealist spectacle it was to behold this majestic construction held
in the air on fragile stilts while the underground complex of Les Promenades de
la Cathédrale was under construction, in the late 80's.
