Relay for Life 2003
Copy 2 of Picture_0118.JPGThis is the first photo of those I took of Taylor's Annual Relay for Life Walk-a-thon to raise money to help fund cancer research. In this photo the large group of people in purple out on the field are all Taylor residents who are Cancer Survivors! They marched out of the field house, down, around the track and out onto the field during opening ceremonies. They were each holding a purple balloon that they later released all at the same time. |

Jennifer spent more hours at the event than all the 5 of us combined, although we were all part of the kick-off walk. She volunteered to design and decorate the Rotary's booth for Dave, helped with the face-painting booth a bit before the walking part started, and walked over 70 laps which took her about 4-hours to do in all. She didn't come home until midnight and had planned on doing an all-nighter there with the youth from our church only felt ill around midnight and asked to come home. |
