Our son recently wanted to take his dog, (that has continued to live at our house after he moved out 3 years ago), to Austin's Dog Park. I decided to tag along since I'd never been there before. We had a really enjoyable Mother-Son-Pet outing. After we finished the several-mile trail and let Rebel play in the water, Chris volunteered to jog back to the truck and come meet us while Rebel & I waited at the Dog Park. Rebel is NOT used to any exercise, not to mention the heat that day, so he was pretty wiped out. Afterwards, we found a nearby restaurant that was "dog-friendly" and enjoyed a great late lunch with Rebel while Chris enjoyed watching part of a football game on the big screen TV on their outdoor patio dining area.
