For the third year in a row I was one of the participants from about 9 local churches, who came together to put on a free (outdoor) Live Nativity on a hillside outside of Taylor, TX behind a small church. These are photos that I snuck taking as I walked around in period costume, as an "imbedded guide". This year there were 120 participants in period costume, (plus many more that dealt with lighting, parking and kitchen help) who put this nativity on. Groups of 20-40 people per tour were taken on a 20-minute walk outside from Nazareth to Bethlehem, ending at a stable portraying where Jesus was born. Over the two nights, just under 1,000 people came thru to see it, and be reminded of just WHY we celebrate Christmas!
