Lisa's Blankets
027.jpgThis was my second one made and has a big flaw in the overall shape of it (that I learned later what I did wrong). The yarn is soft chenille-feeling and so cuddly! Gracie loves curling up in it. |
031.jpgA close-up of that cuddly soft blanket. |
TC-Valentine+blanket.jpgThis is Emmie's personally-designed blanket. Different yarn and a fancier style. (I hope she likes it!) |
TC-Valentine+blanket 008.jpgA close-up of Emmie's blanket folded and with one corner pulled lower to utilize my dark desk as a background to see a bit of the detail put into this one. |
IM000339.jpgAlthough it's not noticeable in this photo, I made this blanket with three different brands of pink yarn. I tried to make each "square" a different pattern. This blanket is similar to the one with primary colors and is also reversible. This photo shows the side with the "seams" open and facing you. |
IM000338.jpgThis is the back (or smooth) side. I made loopy pom-poms and attached at the four, interior corners. |
IM000272.jpgView showing the whole blanket (it is really a rectangle, although this pose makes it appear a more hour-glass shape. |
IM000274.jpgA new style I created. I "chained" a long strand and then wove it in-and-thru the open row, tying the ends in a bow in one corner. |
100_4476.JPGA different, but similar blanket. |
100_4477.JPGClose-up |
100_4478.JPGAll folded and ready to be wrapped. |
100_4737.JPGAll of a sudden co-workers seemed to need me to make baby blankets for them to give as baby presents faster than I could get them made. |
