We stopped overnight in Lawrenceburg, TN, staying at a wonderful AirBnB home (the hosts live in their home but rent out one or more of their bedrooms). Our hosts were wonderful to meet and briefly get to know and we highly recommend staying with them if you're ever in their area. We got to their home at 10:00 p.m. and headed out the next morning at 8:00 a.m. but all interactions with them were very good! Their back yard looks out over a canyon below that is the David Crocket State Park. Here is a link to their home: https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/13890944?checkin=10%2F28%2F2016&checkout=10%2F29%2F2016&guests=2&s=W2o3m5tz The following morning we drove to nearby David Crockett State Park and had breakfast at the Crockett Mill Restaurant, located in the middle of the park. The park was beautiful and we hope to go back and enjoy it more fully in our future travels.
