So many lives given to help keep our country free........................The group of photos were taken mostly from the guided bus at Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, VA. It seemed that we drove around for a few miles while there and in any direction you looked, were similar scenes as this one. They told us that it is still an "active" cemetery, ranging between 15 and 30 burials per day, 7 days a week. Just during the 15 minutes while we were at the Grave of the Unknown Soldier we could hear far off in the distance, "Taps" being played at least twice.
