This Bald Eagle was in a permanent enclosure adjacent to the top tram landing. (I put my camera up to the bars but did not use zoom for this photo.) I also took several pictures with my Canon, using the zoom to get just her head in the whole picture while she looked straight at me. You guessed it, they were also in the damaged film.) "Cessna" is believed to have had an in-flight accident with an airplane near the airport and lost 1/2 of one wing. She's approximately 6 years old with an expected average life span of about 50 years. I wish I could share with you her face, up close - it was breath-taking!
