Belle's tail (like her brother's) was somehow damaged when she was very young. Her hair was a normal length when we got her (as in this photo) but now that fall is here her hair has grown a lot longer and softer and her facial hair has really mushroomed! It's as soft as a Persian's now. This photo was when she was still inside during her first week with us and rarely allowed any of us to even see her - she just about lived behind couches.
