Alaska has few highways across the great state so either flying or boating is their predominant mode of transportation. These next photos were taken around their airfield for small aircraft (not to be confused with Ted Stevens Int'l Airport that we flew in on). Our guide said that approximately 700 private planes are kept around this area.
