We had walked near/on/around many black rock formations and then came across this bright "glob" of colorful rock. The next pictures shows not only it, but other unusually-colored splotches of various colored rock stuck around this one particular black one. Never saw any others on our hike that day, so have no idea what caused this one to do this.
