We stayed at Hot Springs Village, about 30 miles North of Hot Springs. The Village is the largest gated-community in America! I don't know the size of it, but in addition to the many, many homes & condos there, they have 5 golf courses, 11 lakes, many restaurants, stores, etc. and lots & lots of open wooded area with nothing but nature in view. This is to the left of the road as you enter one of the five gates.
