These pictures were taken mid-September when I was babysitting the two younger grandkids one Saturday and took them with me to go see my very good friend, Barbie. She is in the Hospice program (still living on her own, though). She read the kids a book I'd brought with me, then treated them to suckers before we left. You'd never know by the look on her face or her actions but she was in extreme pain that day.
