This photo starts those taken at Cabrillo National Monument, which is near the end of the penninsula, just past the National Cemetary. San Juan Cabrillo was the man who "discovered" San Diego. This is a tourist stop and on a normal-weather day, you can see for miles around with San Diego laid out all before you.
