A few events had some "wee little ones" also participating but when the contestants were this small, it required a person to lead the horse and another to walk beside it to ensure the rider stayed in the saddle. Also, the horses were led at a very slow pace, but did complete the correct route for that event. (Those of us sitting together were trying to decide what color this horse would be classified as.)
