I found this place in Pigeon Forge on Yelp and about 95% of the reviews couldn't say enough GOOD about it. It's such a big place that MANY tour buses stop there to let their travelers out for a meal and stroll/shop around the "compound". One thing I read on Yelp is that this "compound" has an Applewood Farmhouse GRILL near the main road, but if you go past it, by their many connected shops & orchards that together make up it, you'll get to the Applewood Farmhouse RESTAURANT near the far end, which is the original farmhouse turned into a restaurant. Both eating places offer the same menu but the old farmhouse has an added feature (which we went for): some of the tables offer porch swings to sit on at your table instead of traditional chairs. We got lucky and got such a set-up. This place is also famous for the free apple-fritters and apple julep that comes complimentary with each meal. Our country-style cooked breakfast was all very good. Yelp reviewers also mentioned that wait times of 45-60 minutes are the norm unless you arrive in between meals, like Dave and I purposely did. The farmhouse restaurant had so MANY dining rooms inside that I got lost just going to the restroom and back to the room our table was in.
