How to tape for Posterior Tibialis Tendonitis

This is what I do. It works for me.
I use Kinesio Tape, which stretches lengthwise only.
1.  Use Kinesio Tape.  Cut 2 strips about  4 or 5 squares long

2. Peel about half the backing off and affix to the outside of the midfoot and pull across the arch

3.  firmly pull over the posterior tib tendon, just behind the ankle bone

4.  Wrap around and affix above outside (lateral) ankle, smooth out.  Tape should be snug but not restrictive.

5.  Strip #2:    Start behind other strip, closer to the heel.  This one will look like a J

6.   Pull firmly around the bottom of the heel.

7.   and stretch straight up the side of the ankle.
