Lawn was going to use one of his photos from Cinncinati, today, but he couldn't get the Hotel connection to work,
so that plan fell through! Since I've already loaded my PaD for today, in my album, I decided to use one of the shots
from our trip in March. This is taken down in a canyon, of a ghost town, (although there are still a few people
living there) in Nevada. We hauled the stock trailer down this winding, steep dirt road looking for the wild burros
and found the remains of this old mining town. We camped there, that night, and it was so peaceful and beautiful
with all the mountains surrounding us....we hated to leave the next day. This is one of the walls of the old
General Store. I love the way the stones that form the wall, mirror the colors, in the tailing piles and hillsides, behind it.
The different colors of rock were just amazing and so beautiful....I came home with a bucket of rocks of every color!
You can see my PaD for today, here.
