Blue Gray Day
May 6
Ajuga Reptans

Well, actually, these are more purple, than blue, but Lawn's off again, after one night at home, to Cincinnati
for a week, so blue matched my mood more than purple, hence it's a blue gray day to shoot purple flowers. ;-)

Well I did spot some of this at the farmers market, Saturday, and now I know that it's Ajuga reptans, or Bugleweed, a useful groundcover plant. I think I'll trasplant some of it into other areas and let it spread out since it's quite pretty, as well as hardy, and adaptable to most growing conditions.

LOL, actually, I'd rather be with him, but putting five dogs on a plane for a week long trip isn't too likely! He went to the zoo, today, the brat, so I'm anxious to see his pictures! Sorry, Linda, but he didn't know what kind of flowers these are.

A very nice lavender purple. Cincinatti-I'd bet he'd much rather be home with you.

Not a clue, I'm afraid....I'll try and remember to ask Lawn tomorrow, when I talk to him, and see if he knows. They're not too tall - 8" to 10" - but they're quite pretty.
