These are from a collection my aunt used to keep stored in a closet, I remember seeing them when I was in my early 20s when I visited her in NY. Most of these, but not all, were not meant for public display so to speak; more about process, or for his own purposes. Some were from his period as a student at RISD (I think he was a student through 1914 -- I'll have to check that later).

These are from photos a cousin took to document them (8 years ago!). He gave my brother a cd of the drawings years ago. I never knew where these drawings went, or that my brother had photos. It just happened to come in a casual conversation with my brother. It reinforced for me how important it is to share our grandfather's art work in a central place.

The collection has a few works by other artists which I have not uploaded but which include at least a couple drawings by RI artist Stacy Tolman who was a friend of my grandfather. There were some drawings that were not signed and did not seem to be like my grandfathers (though I do not claim to be an art expert) and I have left those out as well for now. More than a few that were not signed but had a high probability (in my mind) of being his, I did include.
