These were taken on the way to "work" one morning last winter...tracking lynx. We were out in the field before the sun rose and returned well after dark. We joked that our slogan was, "This truck brakes for sunrises". Truth is, we stopped for wildlife, springs, waterfalls, rivers, streams, mountain views, etc. I had a mentor who used to say, "It will never be like this again." He was right, so I pause when and for as long as I can.
