"Francis A. Tondorf was born in Boston on July 17, 1870. He was a seismologist and faculty member at Georgetown, where he died on November 29, 1929."

DATE SPAN: 01/01/1930 - 02/21/1936
DESCRIPTION: Letters, mostly from Dr. Michael L. Mullaney, Providence, R.I., and Georgetown Univ. administration concerning striking a medal to honor Tondorf, erecting a memorial library addition, and commissioning paintings of him. Some newspaper clippings."
