Feathers

This is an unfinished project (started in 2000!) based on a workshop I developed and occasionally still teach -- that I hope to get back to. The idea was to take the feather remains found at the site, reconstruct and determine the species, determine if the species died or just lost (molted) its feathers, and if it died how (natural or causes, predation by bird or mammal, etc.). There is much more to photograph. The camera I started with was on loan, but now I have a camera and just need to find the time. There is a video I hope to upload on YouTube soon as well, that shows exactly what happened at this site! More to come.....
