Dogsledding in Maine's Backcountry

These are photos taken by a small group (3 folks) who scouted a portion of a trail we will use for a weeklong winter program in Maine's backcountry that includes dogsledding, xc-skiing, and animal tracking. Rich Bouchard, also a registered Maine Guide, and sole proprietor of Snowquest, is the man behind the dogledding part of this upcoming program. The camp feautured in the photos is AMC's Little Lyford Pond Camp, and is the last location of the Lodge-to-Lodge program that also includes AMC's Medawisla Wilderness Camp and the West Branch Pond Camp -- all in Maine's 100 Mile Wilderness area.
