CICRA: Los Amigos Biological Station

Centro de Investigacion Y Capacitacion Rio Los Amigos (CICRA) is a biological field station located on the banks of the Madre de Dios River in southeastern Peru. The campus is on a high terrace and was originally a mining camp. Principal ecosystems include terrace forest, floodplain forest, swamp forest, streams, lakes, and riparian vegetation.
