Hector
I just downloaded the latest update to Nikon Capture today. I used the new D-Lighting tool on
this pic of Hector from a few weeks ago. Not sure if is better than shadow/highlight in PSCS
but I think this shot looks pretty good!

1/250s f/1.8 at 85.0mm with SB-800 Flash full exif

I think that has to be THE best cat portrait I've seen! You can almost feel Hector's fur and his whiskers are so pristine. Clever you!!

Beautiful image and cat. Concerning the usage of flash or bounce flash you are lucky with your Hector: some cats (especially shy or observant ones) always close their eyes when a flash is being used... Best regards, Carl

I had the flash turned to bounce off the wall to his right, so I think that is what he is looking at.

Beautiful cat portrait. I think it's wonderful -- color, light, DoF are spot-on. I like his alert expression too.
