TECHNICAL NOTES: All the studio pictures were shot in my makeshift studio in my 12' x 16' living room with an 8' ceiling. I hung either a white blackout curtain or a dark grey velour backdrop over the window curtains for a background. The lighting is from an Alien Bees AB-400 with a 48" brolly box. I used a Nikon SB-800 flash in SU-4 mode as a fill light. I also used a Sekonic L-308b light meter to set exposure and a few white foamcore boards for fill light. The D70 was plugged into a 19" TV so she could review her pictures as we shot. That is how we got some of her great reaction shots. She came up with most of the themes for these photos herself, and I was just there to capture it as well as I could.
