We stopped by the side of the road and had a zillion cows come rushing up to the fence to check us out. It was near feeding time. As bad as the place smelled, the kids got over it and enjoyed interacting with the cows. I cringed a little when this friendly guy wanted to pose for me (and check out the buddy in the background, cute the way he popped up).. cringed because his ear tag had obviously been torn out in the past. His ear is split, but a new tag has been put in. Can't help but wonder how he managed to get the other tag ripped out.. ouch.
