I got up this morning thinking I might find the owls out before it got too hot. There are a couple babies that I'm really wanting to catch good photos of while they are still fluffy.
The parks people were there making all kinds of noise, grating the parking area. There was only one baby owl that I spotted and it zipped in the hole instantly. Mom and Dad were both acting like they were having a bad morning so I gave up. I have been told there are some more burrows on the far west side, but I couldn't find them this morning in the limited time I had. I saw an Osprey on the wire over the river, but I don't have a lens long enough to reach that far.. darn.
So, as the sun was rising and the sprinklers were on, I turned around and started the drive out of the park. There was a lot of dust and mist in the air. The playground castle seemed larger than life. I couldn't resist a spooky photo.. too early for Halloween! LOL ..straight from the camera this is what I saw. Pretty cool huh!
