Tren and I drove to the hill where we can overlook to the east.. there was a lot of lightning last night and we hoped to see more than just the clouds lighting up brightly. This was the only shot I got before a wall of dust stormed across us and the rest of the city. We retreated to the car, and came home to no power.
Reports indicated that the thunderstorm storm had winds gusted to over 50 mph and maybe 0.03" of rain.. if you can call that rain!! Nearly 10,000 people lost power. Compared to the east coast this was lame at best, but somehow I found it strange that we had something local to make us think.
