I sometimes wonder why I take images I do.. This is one of those.
Partly I was perhaps just surprised to see these horseshoes where they were.
Left behind, they have a story but I can't guess what. They were at
Fortuna Pond in the parking area. The winter visitors have long gone, there
were only a couple fishermen parked over at the lake with their vehicles,
and they had nothing to do with these horseshoes. So, these were abandoned,
forgotten? left on purpose? This is exactly as we found them, and left them.
Sometimes I just feel like I'm viewing the remains of a story that is over..
and wonder. Who were the champs. Who left these here.
