As our ship sailed up the Amazon river at night, the lights attracted numerous insects, mostly moths, to the ship. These were photographed the following morning.

Last Jan/Feb I went on an Amazon Cruise and I saw most of the fantastic moths and beetles which landed on the ship over night. When we returned to the mouth of the Amazon we were inundated overnight with hundreds of huge beetles. I am sure they must have been Titan Gigantius, they were crawling every where
