Shots taken on 12-15-2010, our 10th wedding anniversary!

Our van's alternator had died 2 days prior, was getting it fixed today by the "Johnny guy" from our new African-American church on GoForth Road outside of Liberty City. I was there waiting for mother-in-law to bring the replacement part, my wife & 2 brats were with them also. My mother-in-law WRECKED, barely ½ mile from me. They were okay, but it sure put a damper on the day.

By the time my wife & I went on our way, it was about 1 pm & she was despondent. We ended up just "hanging loose" at home sans kids and eating at 2 of our favorite places--The Taco Station, a tiny mom & pop taco place in Overton (run by "gringos" actually), and Schlotzsky's Deli. We almost went to a movie or putt-putt, but didn't. However, we planned to go to Witchita Falls, TX over the weekend, having found a hotel for only $45 a night with a heated indoor pool.
