Received my repaired D50 back today, and wanted a good shot. Saw some good star trails, right over my house no less, but my camera's wireless remote was missing, luckily I remembered hearing that some TV remotes (RCAs in particular) can fire the camera. Turns out my 5 buck RCA can do it, with TV set to Code 066 and you press POWER OFF-ON. So I got this picture that way!

Converted to black-white and added S-curve, changed sharpening to "none" and "color Mode" to Ia, all in Nikon Capture RAW software, saved as TIFF. I then opened in Photoshop CS and added sharpening using "DigiEdge Sharpening" action, regular setting. Mounted on "old" heavy Vivitar tripod. (20071018_205119_rj_b_d50)
