Attempts at "professional"-caliber portraits taken of the Norris family on December 9th 2007. Used the D40 with the Nikon Series E 75-150mm f/3.5 either at f/4 or f/5.6, in Raw + Jpeg mode.
The "original" are the shots before being retouched, they are "as-is" straight from the camera. Included in that section are some shots that, in fact, may be good "delete candidates" deserving of being trash-canned due to focusing issues or funny facial expressions etc.
The "retouched" section are 6 of the best shots from the day, retouched with colour corrections and sharpened up. They were edited as DNG files, hence the "dj_b" suffix.
