This time, after a morning dip at Bradley, I cooked a better breakfast as remembered to get eggs while out. I made eggs, smoked sausage (with mustard), biscuits again, toast, and (again) orange juice. (I should've passed on the biscuits though, they took long enough that by the time we'd finished everything else--toast helped--we didn't need them.)
The day started out well, but ended up disappointing somewhat. We made it to Ponca & the Outdoor Center where Adrian (as expected) loved the pepperoni cheese sandwich, but Ponca was spoiled for me & my wife--she because there was no shade and it was almost 100'F, me because a large tree had fallen into the water smack where you jump off & it ruined the deep area. We stayed for awhile for the kid's sake just the same.
From there, after more hemming & hawing about where to go next, I decided to have us go to Falling Water Waterfalls, which we always like--only to find it was almost totally dried up. We were crushed. We returned to the cabin & I grilled hamburgers on the grill. We then went to Pruitt, which was nice except for when nosy persons called the police when Adrian was alone for awhile (he's 13!). They watched a movie (Ghostbusters?) on the cabin's DVD player.
