(1) I made waffles in the toaster & sausage on the Foreman grill for breakfast

(2) Stopped at ranger station close-by, bought waterfalls book spent much time talking to ranger

(3) We cooled off at Bradley Park swimming

(4) Lunch at Sharon's Cafe in Jasper

(5) We then explored up Highway 74 west which had some "mountain" scenery, I got many good shots, including my favorite one in many years

(6) Tried to find some falls (forget the name) from the book via GPS directly, not knowing it was a spot you were supposed to HIKE to after parking at Lost Trails (I was still pretty new at using the GPS coordinates method, especially driving vs hiking). It took us up a HORRIBLE road down 43 (right turn off 74) wife walked up it a ways with me yelling for her to just forget it (the car almost got stuck after all, it was hot & I knew it was about 2 more miles to go)

(7) Instead checked out "Lost Trails" (a sign for it near the turn-off) and it turns out THAT trail takes you the falls we'd been looking for to start with, but locals telling us that there was no water running caused us to call that off after making it about halfway down the trail at "Man Made Bridge."

(8) Her family arrived (staying at #18 across from ours) meeting us at Bradley Park

(9) After time in the pool, we went to our cabin & our electricity was out. Went with her father to Pruitt again, electricity was back-on when we returned.
