After settling in to my room, I returned to the a viewpoint I had past on my way from the bus station. This area (the first 4 photos) is not marked on maps and is missed by most visitors. Nearby there is a small park (the next 4 photos) with a view that attracts visitors using the main entrance to the town.

The rest of the day, and all of the following day, I roamed the town without a set plan, exploring its nooks and crannies. The experience was enhanced by the nearly total lack of automobile traffic. Maps I had printed from map.cz help me find some back alleys. The details on Mapy are better than on Google Maps.
