The Santa Marķa la Ribera distict has a large population of people from the southern state of Oaxaca. Here a Oaxacan food fair was taking place in the park, just northeast of the kiosk. On some of the signs is the sentence, Nuestras tradiciones maintienen vivos nosotros corazones (Our traditions keep our hearts alive.)
