I spent the month of May of 2013 in Mexico City. Near the end of my stay I found a art nouveau building online, but only had the street name. I used Google maps street view to locate the building.

The next morning I hailed a taxi and told the taxista my destination. I referred to the street as Gral Prim. "Si, señor. La calle General Prim." I began laughing. I had forgotten that Gral. is the abbreviation for General.

Unfortunately I have been unable to find the construction date or the name of the architect.
