Mothing in Larose Forest

Larose Forest

This is what the setup looks like for mothing. If I am alone, I may set up only one light, sometimes two, but on occasions when several of us go, we may have four or five lights set up at different points in the forest at some distance from each other. Many of the same moth species appear at all the lights, but often there are species that only appear at one or two of the lights, not all.

Like a moth to a flame - or a sheet. Thanks for sharing your 'secret'
