Raccoons

At home

One raccoon decided to move onto the bigger bird bath; the sibling decided to follow and there was a tussle. Suddenly the basin (or bowl) of the big bird bath toppled sending both raccoons to the ground. They were unhurt, as was the bird bath!

A fun shot! They are plump and healthy looking kids.

for youngsters they are pretty big, and apparently already fighting for supremacy...a vibrant image, both for the sparring partners and the leafy setting..

Cute interaction. Our birdbaths have survived so far, but the hummingbird feeders are 2 and 1. I have to bring them in at night!
