I have to wonder, with millions of years of evolution, why this little guy doesn't have a couple of legs in the middle, so he (or she) doesn't have to inch about?? :o) Cracking shot all the same, you've timed this well

Agree, it is well camouflaged. We used to love watching these caterpillars move along when we were young - and had time! Sometimes called Inch worms?
