Found under some bark on a rotting log. Adult click beetles feed on a variety of things including rotting fruit, fungi, nectar and pollen, while their larvae are "mostly opportunistic predators. Some saprophagous on decay organisms such as myxomycetes, while soil dwelling species are generally predaceous or omnivorous." according to Bug Guide.
