This is one of about 20 or so vehicles that came down the Rockcliffe Parkway late day yesterday, and I think they were looking for a way to get into Rockcliffe Park to find our PM. Much anger out there, much of it directed at him. These vehicles aimlessly followed each other up and down the same small stretch of road, but the access to Rockcliffe Park (the neighbourhood) was barricaded. I guess most of them eventually went back to Parliament HIll to join the massive crowds there. The original protest, an anti-vaccine mandate one, was one thing, and I firmly believe most of the truckers in the convoy are peaceful protestors who have a right to their viewpoint. But the far-right, neo-Nazi thugs and their pro-violence, conspiracy pals, tried to hijack it. Not sure yet just how successful they have been but hopefully not at all.
